Privacy policy

Who we are

This policy explains what information gtagediting.com ("GTAG Editing", "we") collects, why we collect it and what we do with it. It applies to the website and the store.

Information we collect

When you sign in with Discord, Discord gives us your user ID, username, display name and profile picture. We only request Discord's "identify" permission, so we never receive your email address, password, servers or messages.

When you buy something, Stripe processes the payment and tells us the amount, the email address entered at checkout and the billing details Stripe collects, such as country and postal code. Your card details stay with Stripe. We never see your full card number.

We also keep a record of the products on your account and when each was added, along with any emails you send to support. Our host, Cloudflare, processes your IP address and browser details to deliver pages and protect the site from attacks.

While the store is in testing, signing in also posts your name, username and profile picture to a private channel in our Discord server so an owner can approve access.

How we use it

We use this information to sign you in, deliver the products you buy, let you download them again, send receipts, handle refunds and support requests, prevent fraud and keep the records required by tax law. We do not use it for advertising, and we do not sell or trade it.

Cookies

The site uses cookies only to keep you signed in. There are no advertising or analytics cookies.

• gte_session keeps you signed in for 7 days. It is signed by our server and cannot be altered.
• gte_user stores your name and profile picture for 7 days so the page header can display them.
• gte_state and gte_next are set during sign-in and expire after a few minutes.

Your browser also stores your dashboard settings and a display setting on your device. Neither is sent to us. Stripe's checkout sets its own cookies, which are covered by Stripe's privacy policy.

Services we use

We share information with the following providers only as far as they need it to run the site:

• Discord, for sign-in (privacy policy)
• Stripe, for payments (privacy policy)
• Supabase, for our database and file storage
• Cloudflare, for hosting
• Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when a page loads its fonts

Some of these providers store or process data in other countries, including the United States. We will also disclose information when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep your account and purchase history for as long as your account exists, so your downloads remain available. Payment and refund records are kept for as long as tax law requires. Everything else is deleted when your account is deleted.

Your rights

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, have it corrected, or have your account and its information deleted. Send your request to [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days.

Children

Signing in requires a Discord account, and Discord requires users to be at least 13. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has used the site, contact us and we will delete their information.

Security

The sign-in cookie cannot be read by scripts running on the page, our database accepts requests only from our own server, and download links expire after one minute. We also collect only the information we need.

Changes to this policy

When we update this policy, we change the date at the top of the page. If a change affects how we use information we already hold, we will post a notice on the site before it takes effect.
